I’m a professional acoustician, acoustic engineer/scientist/consultant chasing the carrot of an interesting and niche career in the world of sound, audio and acoustics. Technically minded musician and audio engineer at heart, since completing undergrad (BSc. Physics) I’ve worked in areas such as environmental acoustics, electro-acoustic design and product development and R&D projects.
I’m currently Acoustic Lead at NoiseNet, a Brisbane based start-up. We provide a range of accessible noise information to the realestate, residential compliance and data sectors. Among many other things, I spearheaded NoiseRisk and NoiseRating, an automated tool for property noise reports, delivering information on a range of environmental noise sources.
